Job Title: Support Desk Engineer

Salary Range: £16,000 - £22,000

Location: Easy Networks Ltd Head Office, Portsmouth

Reports to: Technical Services Manager

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Support experience and a strong background in Data communications and/or Telecommunications. Due to the nature of the company, you must bring with you a flexible approach and a good all round knowledge.

You will be required to manage a portfolio of Helpdesk accountabilities to the company’s and clients standards ensuring that all issues are completed to the client’s satisfaction and timescales. Use your skills to resolve technical issues, Health and Safety requirements and complete all relevant administration.

Skills Required:

  • Good understanding of IP layer 2/3 switching.
  • Experience of telecommunications.
  • Understanding of web development.
  • Logical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and diligently.
  • Computer literate-Excel, Micro soft word etc.
  • Personal determination to increase knowledge and competences.
  • Customer Service experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills .
