Fluke Networks

Although we do not sell Fluke Networks equipment it forms a fundamental part of our offering. It is really important to test an installation to the latest test standards. This equipment is very expensive but we ensure that each project team is equipped with all test equipment to ensure the project is completed as quickly as possible.

The more complex and mission-critical network infrastructures become, the greater the value and competitive advantage Fluke Networks can bring to your business. As the industry leader, our test experts are actively involved with technical committees and panels that set new standards. So we’re always a step ahead with advances that keep you a step ahead. You can rely on Fluke Networks’ Datacom Cabling Solutions Center to examine cabling issues, best practices and timely topics and technologies in the cabling industry.

Copper

As networks evolve, so do the requirements of the cabling infrastructure to support them. New standards are continuously being developed to provide guidelines for cabling professionals when installing, testing, troubleshooting, and certifying both copper and fiber. Whether it's 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX or 1000BASE-T, there are specific requirements and potential pitfalls in implementing these technologies. And with the introduction of 10GBASE-T, it becomes even more critical to keep current with the latest developments in cabling and cable testing.

Certification

Fluke Networks Certification test tools determine whether a link is compliant with a category (TIA) or class (ISO); for example, category 6 or class E in cat 6 testing. Certification is the final step required by many structured cabling manufacturers to grant their warranties for a new cabling installation. The DTX Series CableAnalyzer™ has become the premier certification tester in the market for professional data communication installers, as well as network infrastructure people.

Fibre

Fibre optics is the core of today's datacom networks. Optical fibre is the predominant media type for mission-critical datacenter links, backbone within buildings, and longer distances for campus networks. As network speeds and bandwidth demands increase, distance and loss limitations have decreased, making fibre optic testing more important than ever.

Fluke Networks Fiber optic testers include tools to perform basic inspection and cleaning, basic troubleshooting and verification testers, certification testers, and advanced OTDR testers for troubleshooting and analysis of existing cabling.

Certification of new cabling per IEEE, TIA/EIA, or ISO/IEC standards is necessary to ensure that the link will run the intended application. Complete fiber cabling certification includes two parts; Tier 1 or Basic Test Regimen and Tier 2 or Extended Test Regimen.
